We have done web design for many and have a few essential things for everyone. First, avoid drop down menus. This may be singing to the choir, but I can’t explain you how many sites I come through with these simple problems. Oh and one other tip, Do not use FrontPage.

if you know how to make a templated website pretty then its a good thing. But a lot of girls just leave it plain. ughh Sometimes a little design could help

Nothing is wrong with a template site. Girls I know use them still but always wish they had a real costumized website. I know some that have switched and were happy to get a real one FINALLY lol
